Christmas shopping, When is too Early?!

Just how early is too early? I mean people save all year round for Christmas with these companies that take your money and give you vouchers in November, I’m not talking about that though. I’m talking about when is it actually okay to start buying Christmas presents. Personally in my case it depends on a few factors and I’m pretty shop most people will agree. Space  It all depends on the amount of space you have where you live. I mean we have a one bedroom flat with no storage so it’s a little more difficult for us, yet we still manage to have three boxes worth of present stored away already for Christmas 2018! They are packed away so they won’t be a pain and get in the way, which is the main thing. If you have a lot of storage space wherever you live you might be in…

A Uni Students Guide to Exam Preparation!

It’s currently Christmas and New Year. Unlike everyone else who is running around and getting drunk, I’m preparing for an exam! I hate exams, I’m not good at exams and I even have use of a computer due to my dyslexia and the added extra time. None of it helps on the day when I have loads to remember however. I remember failing my exams in school, GCSE’s hated me and that was fine. I always picked courses that didn’t have exams and even got told my current uni course had no exams when attending open day, you can imagine my surprise when I got told that we did in fact have multiple exams over the course!! So I’ve needed to adapt ways in which I revise and actually try and remember what I need to! Apart from cheating which is obviously a NO! So let’s chat about some of…

3 ways I cope with Anxiety and Mental Health, 2017 round up!

So I have loads of ways that I deal with Mental Health and mainly Anxiety. I’ve wrote a few blog posts and I wanted to compile one blog post to talk about everything that I’ve wrote about so far this year, possible a few from previous years as well. I just feel that if they’re in one place it’s easier for someone to get all the help they need. Also it saves you from having millions of tabs open, unless you dig deeper and have a look at the full blog posts. Let’s kick it off shall we. 1, Anxiety Comfort Box You may have seen me talk about my comfort box, if you want to know more then click on the link above. I’ll explain briefly for now though. Find a box in your house, it doesn’t have to be too big because otherwise it’s going to be difficult…

#FoodBankAdvent ~ All Year Round!

You may have seen the Christmas #FoodBankAdvent campaign. Check out these posts from Mattscafe, KatyKicker and UKMoneyBloggers. However I’m here to tell you something else, just like a dog; the homeless or people in need aren’t just for Christmas. In fact they are all year round, who would have thought it? Don’t get me wrong, I did the food bank advent and loved it because I got all festive. The previous few years though I’ve been donating to a homeless shelter down the road and never thought about talking about it. Now that it’s out there though I want to take the opportunity to really talk about it and not just forget about it after Christmas, although I hope it happens every Christmas! So you know how there happens to be like 365 days in the year? When I was younger I thought there was like 20 or something so…

My relationship with trains, choo choo!

Fun post alert and why not! I have a love hate relationship with trains, not quite a Sheldon Cooper relationship; but a relationship all the same. There are several reasons why although mainly reasons why I love them so I thought I’d start with them. ~ 1, Newspapers! So my mum has two dogs and I must have a fetish for collecting newspapers I suppose. I find that the trains are always full of them, which I love. I walk to carriages collecting them and seeing how many I can collect for that journey. Instead of them being thrown in the bin they’re being used for a good cause and then recycled. Plus if I’m being honest I hardly ever see the papers being recycled around train stations so I’m happy I collect them. ~ 2, The seats. I have to admit after spending some time abroad in various countries…
