Diagnosed OCD, What’s is all about, the facts!

Hello, welcome to my OCD post. Before I start I just want to run through a few things. I have diagnosed OCD. If you’re a person that likes everything neat and tidy all the time and get annoyed when it’s not tidy, you probably don’t have OCD. In fact, saying “I’m a little OCD” or “Tidy up, I have OCD” is a little bit insulting to people with OCD. My flat is a mess the most of times, it’s not always part of my OCD. That being said and out the way let’s talk a little more on OCD and what it really means. Obsessive Compulsory Disorder is just that, a obsessive nature. Trust me it sucks. I get obsessed about so much and it bugs the hell out of me,  the disorder also is known to get worse when a person is stressed or if they have other mental…

Combat stress with adult colouring books!

Stress can happen all the time, it doesn’t matter who you are. I deal with stress everyday and know a thing or two about battling it when I get the chance. You’ll find that most people who have diagnosed mental health as well will know the terrors that come with great amounts of stress, the more you have to deal with the more that it can effect your mental health conditions. You may have seen my post on the three ways that I deal with Anxiety? This is a little different though, there are loads of ways to combat stress and it would take me weeks and several hundred blog posts to talk about them all. I wanted to talk about one of the most effective ways that I use though. Adult colouring books. They have been around for a while now and personally I think they are so overlooked…

TopCashBack, Earning more Cashback when you shop!

You may have seen my post on Quidco and cashback already, today I’m talking about TopCashBack though. When it comes to saving money I like to shop around and cashback is no exception. When it comes to money I like to get the best for my money and when it comes to cashback I like to get the most back as possible, so it’s important to check them both. You might be thinking, what’s the point? Just stick to one and don’t worry about what you could be missing out on? Well I had that mindset and didn’t worry about it for a year and then thought, I wouldn’t mind taking a little look. I went ahead and compared GroupOn after looking to buy a mattress. On Quidco you’re going to get between 1%-5%. Where as on TopCashBack you’re going to get between 5%-20% depending on if you’re a new…

Top places I use my NUS student discount.

Having an NUS card can be amazing, if you’re a student or just got one on the sly. You can use it in so many places. However I wanted to let you know some of my favourite places I use my NUS card and what I actually get when I use them. Having the card is all well and good but if you have no idea where you can use it, not so good! So sit back and enjoy the discounts. Oh, I’ve not been endorsed or sponsored by any of these companies, I just like bargains! Co-Op At the Co-Op you get 10% off your food shopping. Which is perfect for most students because it doesn’t matter what university you’re at, there’s normally a Co-Op lurking around the corner waiting for your hard earned student finance! It doesn’t matter if you’re a student or just a normal every day…

How to get Free student prescriptions and more!

Being a student can be difficult, I mean that’s just the stress involved with your work and actually turning up to university. If you have a long term condition that you are taking medication for then it can be even worse. I suffer from mental health, BPD to be exact and I have to take medication for it daily. It can be expensive but thankfully there are things in place to help us students out, like free prescriptions. So the NHS have this thing in place to do with a low income scheme. So imagine it like your student finance, the less money your parents and yourself earn; the more help that you will get. This is one of them instances where you’ll get help and most students will fall under this. If you’re not sure, apply anyway and find out; what have you got to lose? Okay, what is…
