Starting A Bucket List For Your Mental Health Wellness!

Mental health can be rather overwhelming, which is why it’s a great idea to start your very own bucket list! A bucket list helps you to identify the great parts in your life and really focus on them. I’ve always been tempted to start a bucket list although never got around doing one. Now that it’s mental health week 2018 I’ve decided that it’s time to knuckle down and get one sorted. First I needed to have a long think and set a couple of ground rules as you can see below. Don’t add something you’re never, ever going to be able to afford! Make sure it’s not illegible. Don’t be unrealistic, I’m never going to climb Everest…. Don’t add too much and get down if you don’t achieve them all. Four rules, nothing major but still good tips to follow! I started to begin my bucket list at one…

Buddhify ~ The Mental Health Meditation & Mindfulness App!

I’m always on the look out for new ways that I can cope with my mental health, as it’s mental health week 2018 I thought I’d check out some new ways and refresh my brain a little. With the rise of social media and technology as a whole I thought I’d turn to tech a little more and step away from my candles and comfort boxes for five seconds to see what’s about! I was contacted by the kind folks that run the Budhdhify app, they wanted to see if I wanted to review a new way that people can use to keep their mental health under control, of course I said yes! You can get the app on any phone, as long as it can download apps that is! It’s currently £4.99 although the price may change and that’s not something I can control or know about; so let’s…

How To Cope With Long Term Stress & Anxiety

Long term stress can be damaging for anyone, to their entire life and their health. Which is why I’m going to be talking about all the different ways in which you can combat long term stress and how you can cope with it in the future if it every turns up again. Stress can be easily identified, just check out my stress biography. Of course not everything is going to work for everyone and at the end of the day if you’re really struggling then you need to seek professionally help. 1, Anxiety Comfort Box Just like Stress, Anxiety can be damaging. They’re similarly linked and anxiety can cause stress in the long run. Which is why I put together a new anxiety comfort box every single year, this year I went with a luxury box so that I could really enjoy myself and relax. I like to think of…

World Mental Health Week May 2018

Mental health week 2018 is here and I’m going to be switching things up a bit. I’ve decided to release a post and video per day! It means a lot of work but thankfully I’ve been planning it for a while. This year mental health week is mainly dedicated to stress, the full explanation can be found on the mind charity website so take a look if you’re interested. However although I’m going to be talking about stress, I’m not going to be talking about it for one whole week. I know that mental health is made up of so much more than just stress. I’m going to be talking about meditation, mindfulness, long term stress and anxiety; along with so much more over the course of the week! If you’re interested me sure to check out my posts that I’m going to be uploading every day and head on…

Weight Loss Report ~ April Edition

It’s time to change things up a little, if you check out my early monthly reports you’ll see that I tried going to the gym. However due to an unfortunate injury I’m now having to give up the gym for the foreseeable future; which yes does suck but also provides more avenues. I’m going to be changing the structure to this post so I hope you like. So what have I been doing?! Without the gym I’ve had to look at other ways in order to lose weight, one of these ways happens to be something I spoke and wrote about before; MyFitnessPal. If you have no idea what it is I’d suggest reading my post on it, however I’ll give you the quick run down. MyFitnessPal counts calories, it gives you a daily limit you’re allowed and you’re not supposed to go over that; that’s if you want to…
