Cashing in on your used receipts with Shoppix!

If you find yourself collecting receipts and throwing them in the bin the first chance you get, you really need to read this post. If you haven’t done so already I would suggest checking out my Receipt Hog post, which is another app that can be used at the same time as the one I’m about to tell you all about! How to start…. 1, Download the Shoppix app on your app store. 2, Register to the app using this referral code 06JFUC08. 3, Grab your receipt, hit the camera button at the bottom and start snapping. How it works…. So just like the receipt hog, you snap your receipts and upload them for points that you can later turn into rewards. The best part about it all is that you can upload the same receipt onto both apps. Although that being said Shoppix gives you a few more rewards…

3 Top money saving TV programs I love to watch!

I was casually sat down watching TV when I thought, any money saving programs to get my motivation going? I wasn’t disappointed either! There’s a whole pool of choices when it comes to television although you need to know what you’re looking for otherwise you can get bogged down and spend a couple of hours catching up on Homes under the Hammer! I love sitting down watching television and I thought I might as well share what I found with everyone reading this post. Of course a couple might be something that you watch anyways, there’s one major show that I LOVE and everyone’s probably watched at some point, without keeping you waiting though; lets go! 1, Bargain Hunt So I said there’s one that everyone’s watched and of course everyone (I know) watches bargain hunt. I love watching the contestants finding all the weird and wonderful items to sell.…

Christmas shopping, When is too Early?!

Just how early is too early? I mean people save all year round for Christmas with these companies that take your money and give you vouchers in November, I’m not talking about that though. I’m talking about when is it actually okay to start buying Christmas presents. Personally in my case it depends on a few factors and I’m pretty shop most people will agree. Space¬† It all depends on the amount of space you have where you live. I mean we have a one bedroom flat with no storage so it’s a little more difficult for us, yet we still manage to have three boxes worth of present stored away already for Christmas 2018! They are packed away so they won’t be a pain and get in the way, which is the main thing. If you have a lot of storage space wherever you live you might be in…

No spend November – Toiletries edition.

So I’m the type of person who will see the sign “buy one get one free” and end up buying 5 just so I can get 10! If you are like me you may have a cupboard full of toiletries that you haven’t used and ended up buying in the January sales. I mean I wouldn’t class myself as a hoarder but I love a good bargain and I love to save money. The only problem is that I end up having the extra stuff for months, sometimes years. Which is when I came up with no spend November. A time when I can use up everything that happens to be filling my cupboards. First of all I needed to go through my cupboards though and that as quite a task in itself. Does anyone end up filling their bags with little bottles of shampoo and shower gel when they…
