Slimming meals, a pinch of the price with Aldi! #Healthy

I’m trying to lose weight for when I get married, I’m forever looking at ways to cut back and eat better. When you’re a student like me however that isn’t always easy, you might just work from home or have no idea what to have for lunch or dinner. I used to eat loads of ready meals, until I started my calorie counting diet. Now for the people who say counting calories is a waste of time and doesn’t help anyone lose weight, I’ve almost lost two stone. The thing is I was doing great eating ready meals for lunch until I started seeing a decrease in the amount of weight lost every week. I took a look at the ready meals and almost fainted. Most of the ready meals that I had been eating had between 300-500 calories in them, sometimes more. It’s easy to over look a ready…

Contactless payment, is it helping anyone? Pros and Cons!

Most people these days would have heard of contactless payments, it’s basically the way of life now and most if not all cards come with the function to use it. Banks advertise it, shops love it because it means customers are moving through the tills faster, no matter how many sodding items may be in the bagging area! I got to wondering though, it contactless payment really all its cracked up to be or is it destroying our banks accounts and killing our budgets?! So while sat there watching some terrible adverts selling us even more crap we don’t need I thought I would share my thoughts on contactless and go through the pros and cons of the one simple action which costs you hundreds a month! My Thoughts? So I was thinking about this today at university. The only time I think about how much I am spending on…

eBay sellers, how to pick the best ones!

So eBay is a huge marketplace where you can buy next to anything on there. I’ve spent thousands on there over the years and have to say most of the items I’ve received had been fine, some haven’t turned up and others had been dreadful! I have to admit that before buying anything on eBay these days I make sure that I check out the seller. Not everyone will know the steps to take which is why I wanted to share my tips. What are they selling? So first of all I check out the sellers other items. I have found a few sellers that are only selling one or two items with poor feedback, or just the one item and then rubbish feedback. Of course this isn’t true for everyone but if you’re selling on eBay you normally have more than a couple of items selling at one given…

Why I love stationary and carry a note book everywhere.

As a blogger I am always ready to write down any blog ideas that I have. I can literally get them anywhere. This particular blog post idea happened on the train when I was trying to think of blog post ideas! Funny how the world works isn’t it?! I wanted to let people know why I literally carry a pen and pad everywhere that I go. Some people think it’s a little strange and it does mean I have a small bag with me all the time but I have to say I like it. WHY? To be blunt I carry a pen and pad because I get blog posts everywhere and I need to write them down. Imagine if my phone wasn’t working and I didn’t have my iPad! The horror, so that’s the main reason I carry it around. I also need them for when I’m on a…

The one pound power bank for your phone!

Last month a couple of days before flying to Bangkok we decided to have a look around the pound shop for some last minute essentials. We needed all the basics and I wanted to see if they had any apple chargers as it’s always handy to take a spare! Well you won’t believe what I found. I am fed up of buying power banks on Amazon to lose them or have them break after a couple weeks. Well it just so turns out that the pound shop are currently selling their own, yes for £1!! I couldn’t believe it either! I had a look and they had several colour. Green, blue, black, red and orange. We got a blue and orange for our trip. I really didn’t mind if they were going to break after a few weeks like all the rest because they only cost £1! I felt like…
