Snacking, the low calorie snack helping me lose weight with Somebody!

Losing weight can be difficult, I know first hand. One mars bar and I’m putting on enough weight to sink a ship. I also find it really difficult to find anything that taste good with a low calorie count. I use MyFitnessPal to help me lose weight which is all about counting calories, so finding low cal snacks is top on my list! Counting calories is one of the reasons why I love Muller Light yogurts, however I can’t carry them around with a trusty spoon wherever I wonder. Imagine the damage if one of them split in my university bag, carnage! Instead I had a look for some other helpful treats, asked about and finally Superdrug were kind enough to send me these little beauties to try out, who wouldn’t want to be sent yummy treats to test! So let me kick it off with the popcorn, who doesn’t…

Evo Shave, the handy razor for any situation!

Razors, I’ve used a few that’s for sure and I’m yet to find the perfect one. I’m not saying these are perfect but they are pretty darn special. So you see all the adverts for women and their razors. They have them for any occasion, on the go, parties and at home. Men don’t, well they didn’t anyway; until now. Evo shave, they have them for women as well but I happen to be a guy so let me tell you why I love them so much. I took one to uni the other day! You know you can get them little bottles of shaving foam, well I took chucked one in my bag along with a razor and had a shave at uni before a big presentation. It was amazing, sure someone walked in and looked at me a little funny but what the heck! So the razors, they…

How we ended up saving up to £300 on food shopping!

Everyone has to do food shopping, it’s a way of life. It doesn’t however mean people need to spend their entire wages stocking up and filling the freezer. When I first got with my partner I noticed that throughout the month he spent an alarming amount of money on food. It was early days so I didn’t feel I could I could say anything about it although it got to a point where I noticed he would spend £400-£500 a month just on food. I mean that’s just way too money on food, it wasn’t like he got loads either. The cupboard were stocked and the fridge was full but there wasn’t anything major. I did notice however that the items being purchased were top of the line. They wern’t needed, well at least not at the prices they got bought at. I noticed as well that nothing was being…

Slimming meals, a pinch of the price with Aldi! #Healthy

I’m trying to lose weight for when I get married, I’m forever looking at ways to cut back and eat better. When you’re a student like me however that isn’t always easy, you might just work from home or have no idea what to have for lunch or dinner. I used to eat loads of ready meals, until I started my calorie counting diet. Now for the people who say counting calories is a waste of time and doesn’t help anyone lose weight, I’ve almost lost two stone. The thing is I was doing great eating ready meals for lunch until I started seeing a decrease in the amount of weight lost every week. I took a look at the ready meals and almost fainted. Most of the ready meals that I had been eating had between 300-500 calories in them, sometimes more. It’s easy to over look a ready…

Contactless payment, is it helping anyone? Pros and Cons!

Most people these days would have heard of contactless payments, it’s basically the way of life now and most if not all cards come with the function to use it. Banks advertise it, shops love it because it means customers are moving through the tills faster, no matter how many sodding items may be in the bagging area! I got to wondering though, it contactless payment really all its cracked up to be or is it destroying our banks accounts and killing our budgets?! So while sat there watching some terrible adverts selling us even more crap we don’t need I thought I would share my thoughts on contactless and go through the pros and cons of the one simple action which costs you hundreds a month! My Thoughts? So I was thinking about this today at university. The only time I think about how much I am spending on…
