3 restaurants to visit in Argassi, Zante Zakynthos Greece!

Argassi is a wonderful town which is a 10 minute taxi drive from the main town. In my opinion one of the busiest towns in Zante and one of the nicest. With loads of restaurants in the town it might be difficult to decide where to eat if you are staying locally. So I have devised this list of the top three restaurants in Argassi, three that we have personally sampled ourselves and loved. Each restaurant has something different and charming about them. If you go to all three during your stay you will experience something different and take away memories that last a lifetime. 1 ~ Dionysos, 9/10 Dionysos is an amazing family run restaurant situated just behind the Diana Palace, perfect if you are staying here on your holiday. When I say family run I mean it, the waiters who are sons of the owner start from as…

Safari World Bangkok, A day with animals!

A trip to Bangkok wouldn’t be a trip without visiting safari world, or at least that’s what we got told. We decided to check it out and see what the hype was about ourselves. To begin with I made sure I did my homework. We managed to book a ticket with a rep at the hotel for only 1,100 baht although ticket price at the park is 1,400 baht per adult. Happy with a good deal we got a taxi and off we went. If you’re getting a taxi, it’s a lot quicker to take the highway although you will end up having to pay the toll charges which are normally between 100-150 baht depending on which way. I would also advise making sure the taxi doesn’t wait for you while you’re going around the park, our taxi driver tried to make out that he stayed at the park for…

Bangkok Taxis, the Scam to watch out for

While in Bangkok we had to use a few taxis and at the start of the holiday this wasn’t a big deal. It wasn’t till a few days in when we went to safari world when we had an issue. So we went to Safari world for the day and got the hotel to book us a taxi as you do, saves time and hassle. We took the highway to the safari park, toll charges were 100baht on the way there which was a shock as we didn’t know about them! The taxi altogether cost us 400baht, we tipped around 20baht. We paid, got out and the driver drove away, as you would expect? Well after spending a good few hours in the park went left, the same taxi driver was there which we thought was weird but great timing. We got the highway back which this time the toll…

The Wood Oven Bournemouth, where Pizza hits the soul!

What a tale I have to tell. If you live in Bournemouth or just visit a lot you may know about this place, then again I have lived here for almost 5 years and had no idea it existed. Possibly because it’s along the Boscombe sea front, or maybe because it used to be a public toilet; now transformed into the life of the pizza party! Whatever the reason, now that I have had a visit I would recommend anyone visit. So my partner got invited along to a blogging event here and decided to take me along, nice of him right? I had no idea what to expect which was all part of the fun. The wood oven is easy to find on the seafront and in the perfect position for everyone on holiday in the summer, they even deliver to beach huts! More on delivery later though. Once…

Taco Bell Poole, the dream come to life.

So recently I was asked along to the Taco Bell opening in Poole. Of course I said yes, who wouldn’t. Myself and my partner made the short trip and arrived in no time. I have to say this is my first opening event so I was super happy to get asked, the fact that we love tacos helped of course! First impressions?! We arrived on time. I didn’t know what to expect and I kept away from google so I was surprised! I have to say from the outside I was very impressed. You sometimes hear about Taco Bell as a dive in fast food joint. Well not anymore. I was impressed with the outside and even more impressed with the inside. Clean and functional, enough space to move around as well. Maybe a little tricky for wheelchair users but not impossible. upon arrival there was a nifty photo area…
