Loft Lounge: Birmingham bar and restaurant review.

Loft Lounge, the perfect place to relax and unwind. The Loft Lounge. I have spent almost a week now in the gay village in Birmingham. The village is alive with of course gays but many clubs, pubs and restaurants. After a while though you may just want to relax and unwind, that is why I would suggest in a heart beat, the Loft Lounge. With over an hour to kill I needed somewhere to rest my feet and do a little work. I stumbled across the Loft Lounge which looked approachable and really relaxed, so as you do I decided to have a look inside; it hit the nail on the head when it came to what I was looking for. The atmosphere was relaxed and calm while soft toned and current music played in the background. All the staff there where friendly and happy to help. It also helps…

24/7 chillout place, the all nighter we need

The amazing wonders of the 24/7 chillout place! So for the last three years now I have been coming to Greece and it is apparent to say that I have found some amazing places and keep going back. 24/7 chillout place is one of these amazing and friendly places where I always leave with a smile. I have spent four weeks in Greece now and need to admit I have eaten at the chill out place easily a minimum of ten times! Okay so the food is not only good and consistent, the staff are really friendly and as the name suggests chilled out. Let us talk about the food first though. Like I said it is consistent, the food always comes out really nice and the correct temperature depending on what you want. They have a very extensive menu and you can literally pick anything from a gryos wrap…

Ibis Budget Birmingham: Hotel review.

Ibis Budget, Why you shouldn’t visit. Ibis Budget Birmingham. So on my visit to Birmingham I needed somewhere to stay, I don’t think people would like me snoring on the street. I decided to go for the Ibis Budget, the reviews online looked good and the price caught my eye. At a special price of £25 a night I thought it was an amazing deal and snapped it up. Now that I have completed my four nights there, I wouldn’t even pay £5 a night. Now I have quite a bit to write about so I thought it would be better If I split everything up into days. This way you can see how events played out. Day 1, Monday 4th July 2016. So I arrive at reception and check in. I notice that key cards have to be used in order to access the lift and stairs. I thought…

The Diana Palace: Hotel travel destination

The Diana Palace, updated and upgraded. So this year was our third year at the amazing Diana Palace situated in Argassi, on Zante Island. We have stopped at this hotel now for three years, it is that good! This year however we discovered that the Diana Palace had had on of the best face lifts I have ever seen, if you haven’t been before you will really want to now! You can find a recap of how amazing the Diana Palace is by clicking on the link in this sentence. I can tell you a couple of things however, the staff are still amazing as ever. They all have smiles on their faces and are so helpful, you would never find the amazing customer service in the UK; this is the place to go to be treated like a loving family member. So if you have stayed here before you…

San Marco, a one time fling.

San Marco, not as good as you would think. So we decided to give Zante town a little visit as we wanted to go to the amazing farmers fruit and veg market. While there we decided to take a short walk into the actual town and get a spot of lunch, not a huge one as we decided as it was our last full day we would have a massive dinner, as you do. We looked at a few places and instantly struck a few off the list after pestering people in the doorways. We saw San Marco in the main square and it looked busy, we decided to give it a go.  All I can say is that looks can be deceiving. We found our seats and took a look at the menu, while doing so a waitress swept past us with immense speed and we had been left…
