Taco Bell Poole, the dream come to life.

So recently I was asked along to the Taco Bell opening in Poole. Of course I said yes, who wouldn’t. Myself and my partner made the short trip and arrived in no time. I have to say this is my first opening event so I was super happy to get asked, the fact that we love tacos helped of course! First impressions?! We arrived on time. I didn’t know what to expect and I kept away from google so I was surprised! I have to say from the outside I was very impressed. You sometimes hear about Taco Bell as a dive in fast food joint. Well not anymore. I was impressed with the outside and even more impressed with the inside. Clean and functional, enough space to move around as well. Maybe a little tricky for wheelchair users but not impossible. upon arrival there was a nifty photo area…

The Diana Lodge, Chippenham. A B&B Review.

The Diana Lodge, Chippenham. A B&B Review. So this weekend I had my sisters wedding to go to. I needed somewhere to stay and after looking about I decided to go with this place. It looked so nice on tripadvisor. We arrived quite late at night after a long drive and after parking up made out way to the front door. We got greeted but the most friendliest of hosts ever. Even given the time she was lovely and polite. We got showed to our rooms, explained about breakfast and got left in peace. My first impressions of the room, amazing! The room had a unique to it. The furniture has a distressed look to it and although I have never been a huge fan of the type of furniture, it really worked! I have found a new love and passion for distressed furniture. We were able to book our…

Bournemouth Comic Con: Event Review.

Bournemouth Comic Con: 3rd-4th September. So  this weekend happened to be the third Bournemouth Comic Con. After much disappointment with many of the big named guests dropping out last minute some might say the hype had died out. However many people still attended and the general consensus would be a lot of fun was had. Let me talk you through my experience of the event. Like many people I thought the whole shebang could have been handled a little better. Guests should have been secured better but on the day things could have ran a little smoother. We found because of the amount of guests dropping out buying tickets in advance would be a risk. It was a shame to have to wait 25 minutes to get our tickets at 2pm however when the queues were non existent. When we got through them doors though I was ready. I say…

La Voix: A Drag act review.

La Voix, Amazing, stunning and all round super star. La Voix, You may recoignise the name from Britian’s Got Talent or the many shows she has done around the world. I however had never heard of her, nor had I ever seen a drag act in my life. Gay and 23 that is a bit dreadful, I was willing to give it a go though, I am so glad I took the plunge! I have to say as soon as I entered the room I could feel the atmosphere grow. Everyone was relaxed and at ease; the best atmosphere if you want my opinion. Again I had never been to a show like this so I had no idea what to expect. When La Voix came bursting into the room singing “Let It Go” from the iconic Frozen… Well it would be an understatement to say it was amazing. As…

Ibis Budget Birmingham: Hotel review.

Ibis Budget, Why you shouldn’t visit. Ibis Budget Birmingham. So on my visit to Birmingham I needed somewhere to stay, I don’t think people would like me snoring on the street. I decided to go for the Ibis Budget, the reviews online looked good and the price caught my eye. At a special price of £25 a night I thought it was an amazing deal and snapped it up. Now that I have completed my four nights there, I wouldn’t even pay £5 a night. Now I have quite a bit to write about so I thought it would be better If I split everything up into days. This way you can see how events played out. Day 1, Monday 4th July 2016. So I arrive at reception and check in. I notice that key cards have to be used in order to access the lift and stairs. I thought…
