Low Syn Slimming World Beef Stew.
We all love a hot dinner after a long day at work. On slimming world it can be a bit tricky to make one. It can also take a lot of time to work out syns before even making it. Well look no further and don’t you worry; I did it for you. Check out my beef stew recipe and method.
A decent helping of the following, Carrots, Butternut Squash, Mushrooms and Swede.
400g Stewing Beef
Salt, Pepper, Oregano, Thyme
Quixo beef stock cube, 2
Quixo beef gravy granules, 4 teaspoons = 4 syns. (optional)
1, Chop up your veg to the size that you want them. If you are like me and have the veg frozen this will be a lot easier and save time. Grab a large pot to work with and coat in fry light. Add beef to the pot and cook until
hardly any red bits are showing.
2, Once the beef has sealed add the herbs, salt and pepper. Mix them in and then add the veg. At this point you want to make up your gravy, 4 teaspoons of the granules with 280ml water. Or you can just add water and 2 stock cubes. If you want to, like I normally do; add both. Mix everything around and leave to simmer on a low heat for around 45 minutes. Make sure to stir every 10 minutes.
3, Dish up and enjoy! If you want add a roll with the meal as a healthy option and if you use more don’t forget to syn!
The whole recipe is really easy. You shouldn’t make too much mess and washing up as well. Alternatively you can cook the stew in the slow cooker and by the time you get home from work it will be done! Hope you enjoy, if so let me know in the comments!!
