The Wood Oven Bournemouth, where Pizza hits the soul!

What a tale I have to tell. If you live in Bournemouth or just visit a lot you may know about this place, then again I have lived here for almost 5 years and had no idea it existed. Possibly because it’s along the Boscombe sea front, or maybe because it used to be a public toilet; now transformed into the life of the pizza party! Whatever the reason, now that I have had a visit I would recommend anyone visit. So my partner got invited along to a blogging event here and decided to take me along, nice of him right? I had no idea what to expect which was all part of the fun. The wood oven is easy to find on the seafront and in the perfect position for everyone on holiday in the summer, they even deliver to beach huts! More on delivery later though. Once…

How we ended up saving up to £300 on food shopping!

Everyone has to do food shopping, it’s a way of life. It doesn’t however mean people need to spend their entire wages stocking up and filling the freezer. When I first got with my partner I noticed that throughout the month he spent an alarming amount of money on food. It was early days so I didn’t feel I could I could say anything about it although it got to a point where I noticed he would spend £400-£500 a month just on food. I mean that’s just way too money on food, it wasn’t like he got loads either. The cupboard were stocked and the fridge was full but there wasn’t anything major. I did notice however that the items being purchased were top of the line. They wern’t needed, well at least not at the prices they got bought at. I noticed as well that nothing was being…

When you’re a student like me however that isn’t always easy, you might just work from home or have no idea what to have for lunch or dinner. I used to eat loads of ready meals, until I started my calorie counting diet. Now for the people who say counting calories is a waste of time and doesn’t help anyone lose weight, I’ve almost lost two stone. The thing is I was doing great eating ready meals for lunch until I started seeing a decrease in the amount of weight lost every week. I took a look at the ready meals and almost fainted. Most of the ready meals that I had been eating had between 300-500 calories in them, sometimes more. It’s easy to over look a ready…
