If you’ve not heard about NOMO before, let me enlighten you. Take a look below for more information that might just convince you to try their chocolate and enjoy something new!

Who Are NOMO?

NOMO (No Missing Out) is a brand that specialises in creating chocolate products that are free from common allergens such as dairy, nuts, gluten, and eggs. The brand was launched in 2019 by Kinnerton Confectionery, a well-known UK-based company that has a long history of producing confectionery products.

NOMO was developed to provide high-quality, delicious chocolate alternatives for people with food allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences such as veganism. Their mission is to ensure that everyone, regardless of dietary restrictions, can enjoy the pleasure of chocolate without feeling like they are missing out and let’s face it, people who can’t have traditional chocolate are totally missing out!

Key features of NOMO chocolate products include:

  • Vegan-friendly: All NOMO products are made without animal-derived ingredients.
  • Free from common allergens: NOMO chocolates do not contain dairy, nuts, gluten, or eggs, making them suitable for people with these specific allergies or intolerances.
  • Wide range of products: NOMO offers various chocolate bars and treats, including dark chocolate, milk-style chocolate, and caramel-filled options.

How Are NOMO Eco-Friendly?

So of course I like to go with more eco-friendly brands and I wouldn’t be promoting NOMO if I didn’t think that had a solid eco stance. A lot of companies will say they’re eco-friendly but that isn’t always true. NOMO however, don’t make false claims.

NOMO has implemented several eco-friendly practices to minimise their environmental impact:

  1. Sustainable Packaging: NOMO uses recyclable and biodegradable packaging materials to reduce waste. This helps minimise the environmental footprint associated with their products.
  2. Ethical Sourcing: NOMO sources their cocoa and other ingredients from suppliers who adhere to sustainable and ethical farming practices. This includes fair labor practices and environmentally friendly farming techniques.
  3. Carbon Footprint Reduction: NOMO is committed to reducing their carbon footprint through various initiatives, such as optimising their supply chain, reducing energy consumption in their manufacturing processes, and seeking out eco-friendly transportation options.
  4. Waste Reduction: They focus on minimising waste throughout their production process. This includes efficient use of raw materials and reducing waste generated during manufacturing.
  5. Corporate Responsibility: NOMO actively participates in programs and partnerships that promote environmental sustainability. They support initiatives aimed at protecting ecosystems and promoting biodiversity.

By integrating these practices, NOMO not only produces chocolate that caters to those with dietary restrictions but also contributes to a more sustainable and eco-friendly future.

Is NOMO Vegan?

Yes, NOMO is a vegan brand. Their products are specifically designed to be free from any animal-derived ingredients, making them suitable for a vegan diet. NOMO focuses on creating delicious chocolate alternatives that cater to those who avoid dairy and other common allergens, such as nuts and gluten. By using plant-based ingredients, NOMO ensures that their chocolate is not only vegan-friendly but also accessible to individuals with various dietary restrictions and preferences.
