Air Fryer Pepperoni Pizza Potato Skins Recipe
I love pizza and I love potato skins so it makes sense to make these pizza potato skins right? This air fryer potato skins recipe is just the thing you need to make if you want to be healthy but also a whole lot of naughty. You know, when you want to order dominos and smash a large pizza but you’re also trying to get that summer body, that’s when you make these air fryer pizza potato skins!
I’m going to be honest, I’ve never made loaded potato skins before in my life and I’m only just getting to grips with the air fryer so the fact that I managed to make these pizza skins is beyond me! If you’re used to making these types of pizza recipes then you won’t have any problem making these. Then again, If I can make them I think anyone can!

I love making potato skins but I never thought about making pizza skins before, until I decided to use my love of pizza to try so many cool and exciting recipes. If you’re looking for a seriously tasty, easy to make pizza recipe that doesn’t take loads of time and looks really impressive, these pizza potato skins are the ones you want to make.
These are really easy to make in the air fryer, it cuts the cooking time down considerably and it also means you’re using less energy so your bills won’t be so high at the end of the month. I have the (air fryer aff) and have to say, it works like a charm! If there was ever an air fryer to recommend, it’d be that one for sure. I know people prefer the bigger ones or the round ones but I think this one does just fine.
Loaded Potato Skins
These air fryer pizza potato skins are so yummy and super versatile. I put mozzarella cheese, tomato puree, peppers and pepperoni in mine and it was delicious. This pepperoni pizza skins recipe is great for pepperoni lovers, although I do have a chicken one that I will be making soon because I love chicken on my pizza.
If you love pizza as much as I do these pepperoni pizza skins is a recipe you have to try. They’re not super healthy but they’re super yummy. You can also make them with sweet potato if you wish although I find sweet potato more difficult to work with and they don’t hold their shape as well which is a shame as they’re the healthier potato as they say.
Air Fryer Potato Skins Pizza Ingredients
I actually get all my ingredients for this recipe from Aldi because I don’t believe that amazing food has to be expensive. If you’re looking to make these pizza skins on a budget, shop in Aldi and you’ll not go wrong. If you would rather spend more on ingredients I would suggest Asda or Tesco as you can get Clubcard points when you purchase but again, Aldi does just fine.

Air Fryer Pizza Potato Skins Recipe
Equipment
- Air Fryer
- Silicone Inserts for Air Fryer
- Knives
Ingredients
- 300 g Potatoes Small to Medium Size
- 3 tbsp Tomato Puree
- 125 g Mozarella (Low Fat)
- 1 Pepper
- 6 Pepperoni Slices
Instructions
- Put the potatoes into the air fryer with a spray of frylight and some salt and pepper. Cook at 180℃/350℉ for 40 minutes.
- While the potatoes are cooking, slice up the mozzarella, dice the pepper into small chunks.
- When the potatoes are cooked. Remove from the air fryer, cut them in half and leave to cool for a little.
- Scoop the potato filling out, leaving a thin layer of potato, don't damage the skins as you will fill these up later.
- Put the potato you have removed through a potato ricer to get it super smooth. Add a little salt and pepper, tomato puree, and mix it together until it is combined.
- Spoon the potato filling back into the skins, top with the peppers, pepperoni and a slice of mozzarella.
- Place the skins into the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes at 190℃/370℉ for 10 minutes.
- Serve with a side salad or on there own and enjoy.
